Let me put in my background before I put my opinion up, so that you guys can better understand where I am coming from.

I am a US citizen. I've been living in Vienna since July 2007. I have 3 Serbian friends and 2 Kosovars as friends. I hate the situation with illegal Mexicans in the USA back home. One of the biggest issues I have in the current election. Okay, done.

Kosovo has had a lot of Muslims for centuries? You are aware that Kosovo has been part of Serbia for over a millenia, right? It's also a cradle for the Orthodox Christian Church. Albania may be historically Muslim, but Kosovo is not. It's only been since around the end of WW2 that Kosovo has had a large influx of ethnic Albanians.

What if southern California suddenly broke away from the USA because the massive population of illegals decided they hated being run by the USA? WTF, right? That's what it comes down to in the end.

Serbia and Kosovo are both guilty of bad shit that went down in the wars between the two, so neither can point a finger at the other one. It comes down to simple right and wrong in the sense that you have a bunch of immigrants who moved in, and the second and third generation now want to break away from the land they moved to. What do I say to that? Go the fuck back to Albania where you came from.

I suppose if anything. Israel was historically a Jewish place so they thought it was ok to move in and make a country, whereas Kosovo has always been a "Serb" place until recently. Infact wrt Israel it was the Arabs that came in later and then populated the area, so technically the Arabs are squatting in every Arab country outside Saudi Arabia where they and Islam originated from.., because Egypt/Lebanon etc.. were never Arab countries in history.

Not that I'm saying the creation of Israel was a wise move. They should've made carved out a Jewish state in Western Germany. Germans wouldn't have been able to say shit.

I tried writing something big, rewrote it three times came to the conclusion that there's nothing sensible to be said about this.

Politicians are total retards these days, and it's as if we are blind for consequences and history.
