for a good cpu cooler, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6835887002 . thats what i have and it keeps my proc (exact same one too) around 25C. make sure it can fit in the case he has though.

No need for 2 gigs of memory. His budget is too low anyway. He should go with Q9300 if he wants quad=overclocks better and overheats less. Dunno about PSU, never heard of that brand before.

2Gb is enough if he isnt running Vista and if it fits in his budget, he should get it.

EDIT: As CPU-cooler, a Tuniq 120, or some Zalman stuff.
