With all the hours I have logged I can't figure out how to change the death cam. How do I go from dead and not spawning to view a player and cycle through them? Or free cam it?

Actually it's at the point at which you can no longer be revived. You will go into third person view and only then will you be able to change view.velocitychaos wrote:

And some servers don't let you death cam. Three cases:
A: You can only watch allies in third person.
B: You can view the whole map and travel in death cam.
C: You can't change camera views at all.

Dont spawn and hit space, of course that wont work if it isnt enabled on server settings...

have you ever seen the "kill cam" or whatever it is when it actaully shows you the enemy that killed you? i've very rarely, (and i mean rarely) seen it switch to the enemy that got me. i've never been able to figure out how to do that. cyrax, it's server side setting?

Thanx everyone. There is no BF2 Killcam.
i swear, i've seen the camera switch to a sniper who killed me, and it followed him around until i respawned. it's also happened when i've been shot down (followed the jet), and also when a AT guy took out my tank. i've only seen it when i'm "killed," meaning i cannot be revived. and it's not a kill cam in the traditional sense where it shows a replay of me being killed, i mean it just follows around the enemy that killed me. it is really rare, but it has happened.

Oh, maybe I shouldn't read and post when I'm drowsy. There is only one way to track a person that killed you, and that's only in vehicles to my knowledge.
Say you're in an FAV and someone shoots you out. You'll die and watch the FAV. Press no buttons, and if the enemy gets into their car, you're technically tracing the enemy when you're supposed to be watching the car.
You can also suicide in a tank, and the next person that gets in will be followed.

yeah i've seen that, but i've also had it follow the enemy regardless when i get killed in vehicles. i clearly remember getting shot down on dalian by a j10, and the cam switched to the enemy jet. in almost 1800 hours of gameplay, i've probably only seen it about 5 times.Cyrax-Sektor wrote:
