So, I was at Best Buy today, and bought a G5 and G15.

Then I went over to the Geek Squad desk, and started looking at the RAM. I decided to buy an extra gig, and found 2 512 sticks of DDR2. I found two, decided to buy them. So, I get back to my dorm room, tear the package open go to install it....

Then I check my mobo's RAM slots.
Dammit.
DDR.



Oh well, it was only $20. I'm sure someone at my college can use it.

I didn't think they took open RAM sticks... Anyway, if I sell them to someone for $20, I didn't lose much. I'll see about getting over there later this week, though.

Best Buy does have parts that are priced the same as Newegg's. You can buy from them just fine, so long as you do your pricing research.

Anyway, yea, I usually buy from Newegg, but I decided to go with Best Buy.

Wait, $20 for two sticks of 512 DDR2 ram? That sounds like a steal, u know u cant return what u stole jk, but I spent like $100 or more on my 2 gigs of ram...that was over a year ago...Man how stuff gets cheaper and cheaper
