Okay, I recently acquired a TFT 17" monitor, and slapped a digital to analoge adapter on it, and plugged it into the digital cable on my 7600GT.
Works fine, infact I'm typing this on that screen, although the picture I get is greatly different than that of my CRT sitting next to it.
I've tried using the buttons on the front of the screen to no avail, and I don't want to change the picture of my CRT (it's fucking amazing), could someone post a solution to the problem?
Cheers, karma for help.

Continue using the CRT. They are better.

That said, Contrast 100%, Brightness whatever looks best, sRGB.

No, I'm using them dual monitor, and the picture is different.

Darker, brighter, bluer, reder?

I know you don't want to fuck with the CRT (but more than likely you will need to anyway seeing they're both plugged in), you could try the optimisation in nVidia Control Panel.
Unless you can config the LCD through it's OSD, tbh.

Different how?
Resolutions? Colors?
XP can't set a different resolution for multiple monitors without third party software AFAIK.
