Still though, if you look at the results from many of the super-tuesday states Democratic turnout was in many cases 50 - 75% greater. I would have expected the core of the Republican base (which tend to be solid voters) to at least turn out in droves on that day, but it was somewhat depressed.Kmarion wrote:

EDIT: This made me lulz: With todays totals, Clinton hit 1219 delegates (counting SuperDs) which puts her 1 delegate above Jesse Jackson's 1988 final tally at the '88 Dem Convention.
