Well I recently got into an altercation at school, that almost went to blows and could have potentially escalated even further...and it got me thinking about my personal safety and my ability to defend myself.
Now I've got mates who are as strong as bulls, and can be called on to back me up if needed...but I figure I'd better wise up on my self defense techniques just in-case I am jumped alone.
Thanks to all the people who are gonna tell me "violence is not the answer", "resolve your problems peacefully", "take karate" and all that stuff. Yeah, its great advice....but to be honest I wont be hearing it
I'm 19, 6 foot and about 145 pounds, what I'm looking for is just some tips and tricks on how to give myself the upper-hand and a better possibility to come out on top if I do get into a throwdown. Any and all SERIOUS suggestions welcome.
Thanks
