so yh ive downloaded this awesome ...matrix screensaver finally a one tht works on 64 bit vista haha ...but the guy who made it hasnt done a self install version ...i.e whereby the screensaver file is saved within the c drive...

consequently means tht atm ...the screensaver can only be utilized...when the files are present on my desktop...which obviousli isnt wanted

within the notepad after download and un-zipping of files..the creator ...says about saving the file under the screensaver area within xp ...but nothing about vista...

so my question to you is ...where is this certain folder...and also ...does anyone know of an even better matrix code screensaver that will run with 64bit vista

On the xp version you can right click the unzipped file and click "install".

Try that with vista?

yes i tried the install ...but what happens to me ..is tht as soon as i remove that file from the desktop...the screensaver is eradicated ...from my personal preference options i.e. the screensaver choice drop down

lol thx mate. That looks amazing... works with vista x64 ultimate too. although I still have to click the file to make it start. gotta find where the screen saver folder is

windows -> system32

then it should be on the ss list

Yeah, in xp, it's c:/Windows/System32/Web/ I believe. That's where the wallpapers are anyhow.

Sober enough to know what I'm doing, drunk enough to really enjoy doing it
