Ok, does any of this happen to you guys? I go to enter a game and when I get to the main screen, to select my first spawn point, I keep getting a "connection interrupt" error on EVERY server I log on to. I have 7mb cable and ping well to the server before I join. It all just started up a few weeks ago, but I didn't really think too much of it. Also, the server screen loads incredibly slow too. Is there some new patch out there I've missed or something?

Did you install a new Firewall? That can block BF2.
Make sure your PunkBuster is up to date.
Make sure the port BF2 is using is open and working properly.
BF2 is a good game, but programmed like shit. Sometimes, a complete uninstall/re-install fixes alot of random wierdness BF2 starts.

I have 1.41 and haven't installed a new firewall either. I'll try and update punkbuster and see what that does.
Just odd... really odd. Can't wait until my house is built. Going to get verizon FIOS, 15up/15down fiber. I had 5mb fiber and it blew everything I've ever had away.

Can't reinstall. I lost my cd key.
i reccomend a reinstall, but if you don't have the cd key, it should be stored somewhere in your reg files or the program files...of course, you never know with BF2too_money2007 wrote:

I'd love to download something, except I've read everything is loaded with virii, or viruses(that a word?). I already found the "cd key" in my regedit, but after x9392, there's like 50 characters, so I don't see how that's my cd key. I think I'll just try and copy it all and go to reinstall it. If it doesn't work, won't make that much of a difference.
