Although SteikeTa's starting of this thread was completely fine to me, if you want to find people to play with you can, until the people that complained and argued came along this thread sounded good

So why didnt you just say that, there was enough uncalled for flak in the thread. Constant hostility between people who like the patch and dont is more annoying than all the whining :p before and after it.

The custom map servers might be more appealing to someone who doesnt like the patch though, at least its something new and its unranked. Or a server with the server side mods like Mashturr Rally, Dalian Dogfight, Wake Powerboating all that.

Probably would have gotten used to it, but i love the game the way it was. It is how it is supposed to be. Thats the game i bought. If someone was better than me and killed me several times during the rounds, i wouldnt complain and wanting DICE to fix it so that i could kill that guy easier.... Well, anyway... tell me now, who of you are going to or did reinstall the older version of the patch? And who didnt download the new patch, and if so, are you going to?

Damn i love this game. The first ive ever bought for the computer.

i might... ever since 1.2 now any noob pilot can jump in a jet and shoot down anyone... doesnt matter anymore none of it takes skill anymore

its not my fault that the patch doesnt suit your lordship - if you cant handle the changes by all means play on the older version servers

I think Steiketa was trying to ask people who DONT like the 1.2 patch if they still wanted to play 1.12. I think it`s sad that you ruined this tread with your bullshit, this thread is for people who dont whine okay?

I still play patch 1.12 every day, and it`s still ranked! I have no problem finding a server with the maps i like, infact, they are all there. There are many like me, steiketa and N00b.works who prefer to play 1.12, and a lot of people that simply cant play 1.2 due to computer/graphics issues and bugs.

I have never had such fun playing neither! Since there are few of us, i often meet "old fiends" that i`ve played with the day before etc... And it seems like most of them respect eachother and dont bitch so much
I will strongly recomend, if anyone has trouble with bugs etc on 1.2 or simply like the 1.12 better:
Reinstall game, run patch 1.12. That way you can play the good old bf2 that you loved before the f****** patch!

Edit: sometimes there`s a lot of low ranked players who rarely play, that can be fun, right? I almost get a couple of new victims a day

Id prefer 1.2+ over 1.12.

I hated playing the game cause of the c4 chuckers, noob tubers, and invincible planes and choppers and powerful minguns.

Id prefer 1.2 anyday - that and no local server would have pre latest patches and would be a bitch playing in the World Tourney and various ladders/comps having to reinstall the patches all the time
