Changing 'teams' for a map in a singleplayer game?

Hey y'all,
I was wondering if it was possible to change the teams that battle in a singleplayer map.
I like a few of the maps in SF, but I hate playing as the British, can I play as US or Russian instead?
Do you follow what I'm asking?
If a particular map only allows Rebels against Spetsnatz, can I change the map to US vs. Insurgent?

I think you could if you knew how to mod the game files, otherwise no.

yea its not realy worth it you do have to go through the mods and then muck around in there i guess ur gona have to deal with it or put ur game in a microwave and nuke it for 2 minutes

It's quite simple, all it requires is editing the init.com file in the Server.Zip file. I even have many maps running the new EU teams with their weapons. Suggest you visit the forums at BF2 Singleplayers, http://battlefieldsingleplayer.planetbattlefield.gamespy.com/forums/ where there are all kinds of maps and mods out that have been expanded beyond the normal 16 player size.
There are even mods that extend your zipline and grappling hook way beyond the normal (Indiana Ziplines Mod).
You can even edit the number of bots to fight if your computer can handle it.
