Drivers? You mean for the GFX? Yeah, nVidia released 8 series restricted drivers for Linux. Installation of AWN ( avant window navigator ) was a bit fiddly, as well as installation of Compiz. But everything seems to be working fine now.

All work out of the box, I think. Research it on ubuntu, I don't have those sound cards.

If they were actual icons which were clickable and there were some icons inside those rectangles to indicate what rectangle is what ( in addition to the text ) then yes, you would win.

The text in the rectangles are clickable. They are folders, the icons are just clear.
