Its irritating how whenever i want to rank, i have to sacrifice KDR for it. Getting awards is even worse.. whilst getting my expert knife i've let myself become favorite victim of some noob LC. Once i get to Sgt im fixing my damn stats.
KDR isn't important, SPM is important. Who cares if you die a lot, if you are the freakin' best teamplayer around no one will blame you for a lousy KDR
Anyone can teamplay... KDR shows your actual skill at the game.

You have to look at every stat... If a person has 2:1 K/D-ratio doesnt mean he's a hot-shot if he gains it only by tanking... He could be a noob with 1:5 K/D-ratio when using guns...
Look at all the stats - SPM or K/D-ratio are not stand-alone ratings (or at least they shouldn't be)
You need to get an overall picture before you can really judge someone!!
Obviously we all want score and rank (unlocks) but take i t easy - play balanced and you'll get there anyhow...

I'll do it in one day, but I don't have DSL (Telstra Aussie corporation blows goats.. long story) - so i can only rank at mates places.

i think your k/d ration does count if everyone on your team has super high team play but cruddy k/d then you wont win the round.
but i believe if you have a k/d over 1 thats good for a good team player.
i dont really care about many of my stats i collect medals tho but i hate dying its so easy to avoid dying i donno why people just run in shooting think before you do it and you k/d will be heaps better

Mine was something like 20 - 25 for expert :\
personally, I try to keep my K/D above 1.00 because that means I am making the enemy loose more tickets than my team looses through me dieing. if you set yourself that goal for every round ( play smart, don't get yourself killed ) you are doing fine, for yourself and the team.
team points are nice for your personal score but they won't help bring the enemy's tickets down ( with the exception of flag capping, but in most cases that's just about evenly balanced on most servers ).
My experience is that in 90% of the matches it will come down to who kills more guys because that's where most of the tickets are lost.
If you want to win, you need to cap flags and kill some.
accordingly, I believe you can have a high SPM and still have a decent KDR.
