What do I do? Just recently got rid of Norton 360 because the subscription ran out. Downloaded AVG free edition, and now this. Keeps directing me to that site in the bg. Scanning with AVG now but nothing yet. Anyone seen this before?
Karmaz for help
nice name for your image
I would recommend downloading Avast Free and keep AVG, Also get Spybot search and destroy, then restart into safe mode and run them.
Ill go in depth if you need more explaination

That's why. Never ever trust online scanners. If nothing comes up in AVG or Spybot Search & Destroy and you havent noticed any other problems then you're probably fine.

^ Yeah, I got that one via a virus once. I recommend getting Avast! to do a scan/firewall and AdAware SE for another scan to get rid of that crapDefiance wrote:

"Malware Alarm" is one of those programs/sites that looks, feels and works like normal anti-spyware/virus, but in fact it is installing trojans and shot on your PC... GG

A) It's a fake virus/malware scanner, which is probably doing your computer more harm than most actual malware would.
B) Warez-BB link in your Favourites... probably the reason why you find your browser hijacked by nasties like this.

once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
