Question about transferring files.

My friend is trying to send me a large file (over 3gb) and i dont really feel that Xfire is the way to go with this. Is there any program or service that will allow us to transfer the file faster? We have tried setting up a filezilla FTP server, but that didnt work.

Any help would be really appreciated. I remember a topic like this but when i searched, nothing came up.

if there is no way to put it on a DVD and give it to you, my only guess would to use a torrent.

Yeah RS Is probably your best bet... Though unless you have a Premium Acc your going to have to DL 30 99mb files with a 200 minute wait inbetween.

reset your router and you can dl the next file straight away

It is very easy to work with. I just played WC3 throught it.

1. Both Install Hamachi http://filehippo.com/download/90d2c6a5a … /download/
2. Create a network
3. Both join the created network
4. Put the file in your shared folder
5. Upload/download the file

edit. PS. you can play games and stuff in LAN through it. Even ts works through it. YAY!
