Colonel vs General.

So now I am stuck with a dilemna, Colonel or General. In under a week I will pass 180,000 pts, qualifying for 2 stars. The Colonel rank looks way cooler than 2 stars. But I've wasted over 1000 hours of my life on the game, why not go for the highest rank possible? I am around 20 hours away from veteran armor. Of course I'd rather not spend any time in armor, it's boring as fuck. I'll probably just go for the stars.

So if you had a choice (or did) would you go with Colonel or General?

Anybody want to armor whore with me as engineers? I try playing Tampa to get armor time in but I swear there's no fucking teamwork on that map. Why isn't everyone on that map an engineer? I don't get it.

I call anything with stars general. So three stars/lt. general will be the highest I get. Two stars is just what I'll get when I reach 180,000pts.

Get General. Colonel's hella sexy, but don't you want to be able to tell people on the street youre a full-fledged General, as opposed to a lowly Colonel?

I went for general myself, cause of the above, and I'm a badge/rank whore, and I havent looked back since.

PS: Ill tank with ya any day on Tampa, I need a 100 BRS there, and its the only map I've played under 10 hours. Xfire me up when you're on.

I want to get my 100brs on tampa. I was thinking of getting a crew together to Blackhawk it up. Full teamwork mode. Maybe a bit of ammo padding for points.

But getting promoted is fun. I've already spent 80hrs in a tank, what's 20 more? Most of the time I am in armor it's necessary anyway. Plus if my team is absolutely dominating I use that to get armor time in. Little chance of dying=prime armor time!

Go to a server called [iO] Karkand with vehicles you can armor whore it up all you want and get lots of kills and there is quite a lot of teamwork every time I play there.

I'm sorry but you mistook me for someone that plays Karkand. Plus Karkand doesn't have a lot of armor. Tampa or AF are good for armor time because there's enough for everyone.

I had the choice of colonel or 3 star, and I wish I'd kept the colonel rank. It looks cooler on the leaderboard IMO.
