and I have tried to like it, I've seen like 5 episodes. The acting is just so lame its hard for me to take it seriously.

I see similarities, but thats because they are both television dramas...

It is not in any way a rip off, people with superpowers is not even close to a bunch of normalk people trapped on a strange island.

You are looking at it from a plot-based perspective. Heroes borrows a lot of themes and underlying plot techniques from Lost. A lot. Lost is not just a show about people trapped on an island, you should know that. Although Heroes tries to be more than about people with super powers, it fails at it.
