We meant you could never play Crysis @ 100 FPS. 100 FPS is common nowadays

I have also have an 8800GT. I run all high, 8xAA on 1280x1024, frame never drops beneath 95fps lol.
Rest of system: E6600 @ 2.8ghz, Gigabyte-p35-s3, 4gigs 800mhz ram, vista ultimate x64.

edit:

crysis on high, 1280x1024, no AA. Don't know about the framerates  but I almost never lag, only during very big explosions it lags a little bit.

I can run Crysis maxed DX9 without AA on my 7600GS.

At 1.3FPS.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Quite good for a midrange, last-gen card, really. I also tested in the caves after the elevator crashed, so it was quite an advanced scene with all those boxes and shit.

I have a quick question, will my 8800GT before better at higher resolutions? I know with my 9600xt in vcod, i could get 125 fps constant at 1280x1024 but only about 111 constant at 1024x768.

Now with my 8800GT which is like a thousand times greater, I still can't hit 333 fps in vcod at 1280x1024.

And before you say "OMG LYKE YOU CAN'T SEE THE DIFFERENCE", I know that. It's for jump maps.

Call of Duty 1

It used the quake engine, and at certain framerates, you can get higher jumps.

I have a P4 Willamette (First gen, sucks ass) 1.7GHz with 512MB RAM and a Radeon 9600SE (Slower than the 9500/9550). Don't try it.

If you insist on a low-FPS battle, I'll run it on a 466MHz Celeron with the 9600SE... Kekekekekekekeke

You should have no problems with running the 8800 on BF2. I have a 3850 and I play on 1280x1024 with everything as high as it can go and full AA and get FPS around 100 most of the time. There's really nothing to worry about.

Well crap, I got this crap with 8800gt. Bf2142 runs fine, althought titan maps with 48 guys in there still gives me 15fps inside the titan.

Looks like overheating to me tbh, have it checked.

My GTX runs BF2142 64 player titan maps really smooth. 8800GT should be able to perform almost as good. Overheating could be the problem...
