Asus P5N-E SLI nForceĀ® 650i SLI
After I got my system I read somewhere that the 650i boards do not support true SLI since the MOBO only allows 8 streams to be used instead of 16 streams which is needed for true SLI.
My question is what does this mean?
If I put two 8800GT cards in SLI mode on my 650i MOBO they wont run or wont run as well as a single card by itself?
would it still be worth it to even put two cards in SLI if they wont run at full speed like they would on a 680i board?
