Well i LOVE the L96A1, but i like the pkm too, and since i will be going to staff sergeant i will be going from 8000 point to 20.000 (ant that a bitch) so it's going to be with me for a LONG TIME. I want thst l96a1 but damn im going to have to unlock the M95 which sucks.

Get the PKM, it's pretty much an M95 with an increased rate of fire and more bullets, you also get the bonus of an unlimited ammunition mode.
Yeah and some bodyarmour too.
The only drawback is you can't sprint for as long, but who needs that anyway?

is the Scar-L any good and how do i get it? it does not appear in my unlock menu

Gotta have Special Forces pack to get that one... it's an ok gun.. the G36C is just as good but doesn't have laser sites, but the G36C is more accurate IMO.Hartvuur wrote:

I wish I had reserved my Scar-L unlock for another gun. I prefer the G36C over the Scar-L any day.
Now, with the PKM vs. M95..definitely go with the PKM if you play the support class more than the sniper class. The only reason you'd want to upgrade your sniper rifle is if you play MEC/PLA a lot, and if you want to use the M95 rather than use the stock sniper rifles for those two teams. In my opinion, the M24 crushes the M95 accuracy, and it has the same amount of damage, but the M24 doesn't go through glass (for example for plane/helicopter pilots)...but how often do you have to snipe someone out of a cockpit?
In the long run, I would choose the PKM, but that's just me

God, ain't that the truth. I wish I had never unlocked the M95. I could be using that unlock to take the new Anti-Tank unlock, which might actually be worth something. Or, at least the new sniper unlock which couldn't be any worse than the M95 but at least sounds cool.DeathsTouch wrote:

Go with the PKM. When you are cruising around buildings and accidently bump into the enemy, the 40 damage (or is it 45?) bumps them off in a hurry. Also, the patch improved the accuracy of the PKM so that you can actually hit things in the distance without going through an entire belt of ammo.
