The trick is distraction. Dont go directly to Go... Let teamates distract it, the tank driver wont determine at speed between spec ops & regular infantry & will aim to go for kills not kits. So take an indirect route to an enemy vehicle & make use of cover & when the new patch is out check the skies first for a hostile UAV since this will reveal your position too an enemy vehicle & any enemies in the vicinity.
If you can learn to use armor with the outside view, then it'll help a lot. I've tried, but I can't hit shit with the outside view.
just always check whats around you. after a while you will learn what the spec ops look like so you can pick them out.
Let me guess - you try to capture flags in an APC,right?Zaius1000 wrote:
I like tanks and APVS, however, 7 out of 10 times i drive in a vehicle i always get blown up by special ops. Its ridiculous, its like the entire opposing team is nothing but ALL spec-ops kits!! I play as special ops, but when i try to sneak up on an APV or Tank, they always see me.
get a gunner
I hear an echo...
Best trick in the book is if you are by yourself and there is a tank you want to kill just toss a grenade behind him , or over his tank . He will be looking all around for you . When he is looking the other way run up from behind and toss C4 on him - done . I do this sucsessfuly from time to time when I'm alone . It's about the only thing you can really do alone IMHO .

If you are trying to cap a flag inside of a tank do this . Make sure your turret is facing the back and hit F11 . This will give you the backview . You can see any special forces coming from a mile away . When you DO see a SF coming drive foward about 20 meters or so and quickly hit the F9 button . Now , with your turret already facing the back , you can quickly moe down the SF guy and pown him like a noob . There is really no other feasable way to cap a flag with a tank . This pretty much goes for all vehicles when capping flags .

learn to run on your tip-toes
Seeing as the Tanks and LAVs have such a poor firing ability at close range (they can only shoot so low), I find that in a Tank, I man the .50 cal whilst capping flags which gives me a full 360 degree swivel of any sneaky Spec Ops willing to score a C4 kill.
LAVs on the other hand are quite nimble, so if you keep watch on all your surroundings and stay away from any buildings or cover that a Spec Ops can hide behind temporarily, you'll be okay. Also dont be afraid to use smoke to throw off your exact location. Distance between you and Mr or Mrs C4 is your only advantage.

I love spec ops... its the only class i use period... i love putting c4 on a enemy tank, watch some newb take it, pull out my detinator and see them flying 50 ft into the air... everytime i do that i laugh soo hard i even choke on my food. or even better.. put c4 around my friendly flag.. watch 4 noobs try to capture the flag and push the magic button on the detinator... result: everyone flys into the air.. BOOOMMMMM
you never will ever see a spec ops comming. by the time you do you have to wait 15 seconds to respawn... hahahahaha
