While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

Not sure could be something to do with the fact that in programing the backslash signifies - end of e.g. <i> means italic and </i> means end of italics - just a guess

The forward-slash is normally a command to do something. For example on WoW '/dance' is to dance.
