was buggering about filming my dog the other night just for fun, but when i came to play the vid back on my phone, my mate noticed a strange white orb that flashed across the screen, 1st at 1min and 6 secs the 2nd near the tail of the dog at 2Min's, there was no reflective mirrors or light behind the dog, what caused this i have no idea, a week before i noticed i was talking to my neighbour and he actually told me that someone had actually dies in my flat sometime before i moved in.

so what do you guys think of this??

its kind of the reaction of the dog straight after it happens he just gets up and buggers of down the hall, he would normally just chill out whilst i got changed from work

I reckon it was light reflected off Venus.

Or, more seriously, there may not have been any mirrors, but there is a window and lots of reflective surfaces in the optics of the camera. I saw a program about these kinds of 'optical aberrations' once and they can generally be explained in terms of inter-reflections within the camera optics.

Try filming again, with the same lighting conditions, from the same spot and moving the camera in the same way - you'll probably see more 'orbs' - but if you set up a second camera in the room, filming from a different perspective, you'll see the 'orbs' aren't really there at all!

Oh, and I'd be far more concerned about having a dog with glowing eyes...

so simple, why didnt i think of doing that, ill get my cam corder out and set it up see what happens, aint got any discs for it at the moment so will do it at the w-end and post the results

I've had baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad experiences with Orbs. Back in like 04, my dad and his two brothers (one of which he hadn't talked to in like 5 years) had a get together at my uncle's house. They took a picture with all the grandchildren (me, my brother and my 5 cousins) on that side of the familly. My grandfather had died in 93, and there was never a picture of all of us together. A pretty big orb appeared in the middle. Probably about 4 centimeters wide.

a: dust (moving fast because it's stirred up by your/your dog's movement)
b: small insect (i.e. gnat)
c: actually a "ghost" if you believe the orb theory
