its not $10 a month! its like every other bf2 game....you buy it....download it of eadownloader and then just play it....it stays on your system....you dont have to pay to play.
i think its funny how everyone says ea should make the packs part of a free patch. why should they? all you people want everything for free. 90% of you play on a server that someone else pays for, so theres your freebie. if you dont like the fact that you have to pay than dont buy it, if you dont have the money for it get a job, if your to young to get a job you should be doin home work.

first off torin is an idiot, u cant use sf maps in bf, you need to being playing sf to use sf maps, with euro their going to be adding the maps in so that they can be in your servers rotation where as the sf maps could not be unless you were of course playing sf and for 10 bucks i'll buy it just to get the eurofigher/the new weapons.

Ok here is the thing, if you do not buy it, and the server you play on does (and I do not think they will be release the maps or orther things free) then you will be auto-kicked from the server you are on and can't reconnect until it goes back to a normal map. Atleast this is how the clan leader is setting up our server when the booster comes out.
I don't gonna buy it. I like BF2 as it is so I don't think that I like the game more when I buy it. But when everyone buy it and nearly all servers use the maps in the boosterpacks then I gonna buy it.
As far as I can tell, the 2 new weapon unlocks were added into the 1.2 patch. The reason behind this is that on my clan server I saw both the sniper rifle's name (it slips my memory at the moment), and I saw the the P90 with a few kills. The ranks were in with the patch also, since the top people went from 2nd lt to colonel over night. All that is in the booster is the maps, and the euro army and vehicles.
Do you guys know if you can unlock the new EF weapons if you buy it? Like when in SF, when you installed it, you get to choose a couple of unlocks.
