I seem to be having a problem connecting to 1.2 games.  I have to click on a million servers before I finally find one.  Tried the filter... however, still have the same problem with the servers it posts up.  Of course a simple solution would be to indicate its a 1.2 server in the title.  Not sure if I'm having technical problems or just bad luck.

Have been able to play in 1.2 games so the patch does work for me.

Like I said "Tried Filter....." translation "enabled same version filter"  I also don't seem to be able to get into any SF servers.  Found a few after constant attempts for regular BF2.

Jump off a cliff then. Your too dumb to play BF2, or your computer is too embarrassed to mingle with the other 7337 computer in cyberspace.

Wonderful... You endure countless IDIOT posts on OMGMYSTATSARENOTDISPLAYING and someone has a legitimate question on what appears to be a problem with the new 1.2 patch and all I get is comedians.

Just so u know... I understand how to activate the filters.  I'm assuming the servers it posts up are in fact 1.2 servers but I am not able to connect to most of them.  I only get the message "You have a newer version than the server" if I try to connect to the servers listed in RED... (Red one don't appear when filter is applied)  It appears something else is wrong?

The only consistent event I can associate with the new patch is it appears to have messed up something with my Audigy gamer drivers.  On one of the failed attempts to even open BF2 I found I couldn't open any games or play any music.  I reinstalled the sound card drivers and BF2 and music worked.  I believe the 1.2 patch is somehow incompatible with or somehow conflicts with the sound card drivers in my case.  I did find a more recent driver which I am in the process of updating now.  I am also reinstalling BF2... just not sure If I’m brave enough to attempt a reinstall of the 1.2 path.

Nice response

It's interesting to see how you work out - If it was you'r sound-drivers it could help explain why many people have started to lose bits of sound from enemy gun-fire and stuff...
BF2 patch is being fucked up by sound-card drivers -----> EA is everywhere inside your computer
