quit bitching. they're not that bad. its a slight ache and thats it. either bite down on a piece of cloth or eat something to put pressure on them. or put ice between your thumb and your index finger....that area uses the same nerve pathway as your chompers and will override the pain from them.

I got a removeable brace, and gave up within a week. That thing stank like shit, was uncomfortable and ugly.
