Today is the only day of the year that a woman may propose to her fella.
I heard a story on the news this morning of how a woman has arranged a surprise wedding today including 50 guests. She plans to propose to her fella and hopefully when he says yes she's gonna say "Come on then, the car is waiting to take us now". How much could that backfire?
If so, how did it go?
If not, how did the one on GMTV go?
What's that kind of crap, can't they always? It is 2008 you know,..xRBLx wrote:

Yes I did, as mentioned above.xRBLx wrote:

This isn't a flame I usually read threads from the bottom up if that makes sence.
Check my story out about what I heard on the news this morning, no pressure on the fella then?
2400 is not a leap year then. If 2000 is a leap year and every 400 years there's not a leap year than 2400 can't be a leap year.Ninja_Kid2002 wrote:
Almost true. Except 2100 will not be a leap year, but will be a presidential election year (assuming that the USA still exists and hasn't become so fat it's eaten itself to death.)SenorToenails wrote:
Every US presidential election year is a leap year. That's how I remember it, though that is of diminishing convenience to non-Americans.
Leap years happen every 4 years
Except every 100 years
Except every 400 years!
So:
2000 is a leap year
2004 is a leap year
2008 is a leap year
2100 is not a leap year
2104 is a leap year
2200 is not a leap year
2400 is a leap year
etc...
EDIT: Check it - Wikipedia
I had a free day anyway, week vacation FTW!

Nah BBC as I watch the local Welsh news at 7.27, and then sport news with that fat nose bird at 7.33, however by then I haven't put on my anorak. This may come as a suprise to some after reading the above but Im not single.Bf2-GeneralArnott wrote:

I would be very interested to find out how it went. If I was a guest and the fella bottled it I would be gutted. Day off work, lie in tomorrow, as much food as you can stuff down your neck, as many fat bridesmades as I could handle, an excuse to dance in a dodgy manner (not the normal fri/sat night), loads of booze. I'd still want the party to go ahead me even if he did turn her down.
I have an idea. I'm going to upload any video on YouTube, and in four years, we'll see if the video reads it's been 1 year it's been there.
EVERYBODY DO IT NOW!!!

Youtube will be shut down due to an overwhelming amount of Islamic moans.Cyrax-Sektor wrote:

Two kids at my school have their b-days today, I know both of them. Both in my grade too, in a high school of 900.Fenris_GreyClaw wrote:

I can download "WoW," for free? Please provide links. K, Thanx.
I believe the pattern is a leap year every 400 years.RDMC wrote:

2000 = leap year
2100 = not leap year
2200 = not leap year
2300 = not leap year
2400 = leap year

Centurial years are ordinary years, unless they are divisible by 400, in which case they are leap years. This causes a correction on years 1700, 1800, 1900, 2100, 2200, and 2300.
