somebody took my commissary while I was in the shower in jail.  I had a butterfinger and a 3musketeers bar.  When i got out the shower, my shit was missing and found out who did it.  I choked the shit outta him but I stopped short of leaving marks because I was getting released in a couple of days.

you know how things go in there.   most of my stay was pretty chillax until that moment when I walked to my bunk and noticed the candy I just bought from the commissary was gone.

About 2 years ago my apartment was robbed.  It was Jan. 15th, on a Friday.
They broke in through the front door with some sort of pry bar, completely anihalating the door and jam.  They took pretty much everything I had, everything of monitary value anyway, including but not limited to:  a Mac-90, .45, 9mm, (3) 12 gauge shotguns, 20 gauge, custom .270, 30/30, tons of gun accessories (including (6) 30 round mags, which can no longer be legally aquired in CA), my safe, about 150 DVDs, Xbox, Playstation 2, over 30 games, knifes, jewelry, computer monitor, GPS system, scopes, 2 cartons of cigs, 2 bottles of top shelve alcohol, $1200, my bank checks and countless other items.
They completely trashed the place...it was a fuckin' train wreck.  They even took my comforter, my trash can, and my duffle bags to carry all the shit downstairs.

I got the call at work about 2:30 p.m., about an hour before I was supposed to get off.  I was having a great day until then (it was Friday, after all) but I went into a kind of state of shock.   My girlfriend had come home and seen the mess, so she called me and I rushed.  I kept running all around the pad thinking "they couldn't have gotten this....FUCKERS, THEY DID!"  I was so miserable for a very long time after the incident, because there just wasn't any way that I could replace even a fraction of what was taken.

I thought that I would never figure out who commited the crime, because I had a small group of friends and frankly had no idea who would have seen all my stuff and targeted my apartment.  However, about 3 days after the break in, I received a call from a girl that I used to know.  Turns out that a friend of mine, who I had been aquinted with for over 10 years, had been the guy who broke in.  She said that she had seen Him with his brother stashing all of my shit, and having recognized the items decided to call me.

I had already filed a police report, so I called down to the PD and informed them of this new development.  They sent an officer to my apartment to update the information, then said that they would follow up.

One month later, my bank calls me.  They say that my canceled checks are being used, and I need to address it.  I again call the police and give them the information, along with receiving a report that states that the checks were stolen.  However, after I provided the previous information to the PD and receiving absolutely no help I decided to become more proactive in the situation.  I called the local PD of the city where the checks were spent, along with all the stores that the checks were used at.  I finally found a store that can provide video survelience of the suspects and forward that to the local PD.

Two years later, the crime remains "unsolved".  GG Woodland, CA PD.  The person that robbed me is now incarcerated on an unrelated crime.

My dumbass housemate kept going out and leaving the door not just unlocked, but open. Someone walked in and stole about £40 worth of stuff out of the living room. Stupid housemates.

have been burgled once - someone in previous place I lived left a window open, some scroats climbed in and nicked my N64 and games... it's a horrible feeling - more than just the loss of whatever is stolen - I felt violated - got some of the games back when the police nicked 'em for another burgulary (they were on their way away from having broken into an old-peoples home when they saw our window open) - but only the shit games, and I had to buy another N64.
