A friend of mine, bought a new copy of BF2 (complete collection)  because he lost the cd-key of the other one, Nway...

When he join a server he gets an error : '' Service communication failure: pnkbstra.exe ''

It have something to do with PunkBuster I think. I made him dwl the software and update punkbuster for Bf2 but it's not working.....


Does someone have an idea? Thx in advance and karma for help

If still won't work

If still won't work, go into the BF2 folder and in the "pb" folder there. Then copy everything inside onto a backup folder on desktop. Then delete everything in the BF2\pb folder, and run pbsetup

I made him do the 1st one, ill let him try the 2
