Ok, so I logged in 2 weeks ago and got a message saying I had 2 unlocks... so
I unlocked em...

Now after this patch, I dont get any ?? Ok, before I get all pissy about it, Im
gonna ask you guys whats up..

Did I just waste my 2 unlocks that were intended for this patch / euro pack ?

I wont be buying the Euro pack... The SF pack was the biggest waste of money EVER,
and I refuse to buy any more EA products... so Im just the BF2 'Vanilla' player..

Is there a guide somewhere that shows when I will get my next unlock , after all
these rank and weapon changes Im confused now..

Why would EA just give me 2 unlocks out of the blue for no reason 2 weeks ago ?
Instead of trying to sell me more of their junk expansion packs in that nice pretty
little box EVERY FRIGGIN TIME I LOAD THE GAME, how about some REAL INFORMATION
ONCE IN A WHILE...

Sorry for rant, but I got 20000 points to go until my next promotion.. and I dont intend
on playing this game much longer unless theres some new unlocks, etc to shoot for..
Im not like some of these guys who play 8-10 hours a day.. 20000 points will take me
months..

If you got any links for the new rank system , unlock times, etc, I would appreciate it..

The two unlocks given were meant for the two weapons added in the patch. It was a dick move by EA to give those unlocks without telling you what they were for. Everyone I know just immediately used them to unlock something else.

If it's any consolation, the weapons added in the patch are sucky anyway. The AWP is just an M24 with a shittier skin and shittier sound. The P90 sucks too.

As for Euro Forces, I am assuming we will get more unlocks, depending on your rank, for the weapons added in the pack.

Well, Im a AT guy all the way... I was looking forward to that P90 or whatever it is..

As you say, it might not be any good, but its gotta be better than that junk gun thats in it
now..

man, EA are a bunch of retards... Can they do anything right ? Do they have ANY common
sense at all ?? Why cant they tell people 'Hey wait until the patch comes out to use your new
unlocks, or EVER BETTER... Dont give them to us until the patch is released..'

WOW. Ive never seen a game publisher so inept.. and theyre pretty big too, youd think someone
around there had half a brain.. Guess not..

Oh well, To the shelf my BF2 will go soon..

Getting old and boring and I dont think I got 20000 more points in me.. Hard to get 20000
quickly as an infantryman, unless you play 3-4-5 hours day.. Not me..

Well, MEC needed a different sniper rifle. I generally like the M24 as a sniper rifle, but, the SVD wasn't always the best choice...and the M95 is too inaccurate (in game anyway) to be truly effective every time. So, I'm ok with the AWP being just like the M24 (if that's the case) since the M24 is a decent rifle.

It was my understanding that while the Euro forces were going to have new weapons, it would not have any new available unlocks, so the new weapons will be playable by all players, regardless of their rank and/or number of unlocks.

Yeah I know what you mean the same thing happened to me.
I missed out on the new sniper because I spent it on Engineer and Support unlocks.

(Yeah SF was rubbish)

DICE makes the fucking patches, and they made the game, I didnt lose the guns I unlocked, I still have them

I know a lot of people seen the two blank screens in the unlock menu and naturally assumed that something was going on. Hmmmmmm, could 2 blank screens possibly correspond to the two new unlocks??? I wonder.....

Now don't get me wrong, it was a greasy moved, but I simply just checked the fourm to see what was going on and there, right on the home page (because it was posted 8million times) was the answer.

MuseSeeker I lvoe your sig :-) say it for everyone.

I split my unlocks between the L85 medic weapon and the new sniper rifle with the new patch. I have to say though this is the sweetest rifle yet.

My point is that, with these new weapons that came out in the patch 2 days ago, why would
they issue 2 unlocks 2 weeks ago without some kind of notice, or message... Lets be real,
Someone logs in not expecting an unlock, and Wala! Theres 2 unlocks for you today! Chances are
they gonna taken em right then and there.. and now that the AT kit has a new weapon, I sure
would have loved to had it instead of the sniper rifle I unlocked when I never use..

They got that message screen on there, why not use it for something useful rather than it just
being a lame advertisement box 24/7/365

Theyre inept, simple as that..
