I just swapped out my Evga 8500GT 512MB for an Evga 8800GT 512MB.

When I reboot it keeps saying new hardware found like I have no drivers but everything works fine and the new card shows up in every menu.

what causes this and how do I fix it and should I be worried?

Also,  what is the console command to see your FPS in BF2?

Thank you for any replies.

Use driver cleaner to completely wipe out the previous drivers.

Alright, this happened to me. Even after installing your drivers it will say it.

-Click the box that says new hardware.
-Choose install drivers
-Click search for drivers.
-Will take about 30sec, and you will be finished.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
