Hey everyone, I just got a new computer, an 8800GT being the star of the show.
Anyway since my old computer is broken I'm starting over from scratch, I am going to reinstall everything. I installed BF2 fine, I went to patch it. InstallShield Wizard starts up fine, and it starts patching. However when it gets to the file "Objects_server" it comes up with that typical "Setup.exe has encountered an error and has to close, would you like to send an error report?"
Has anyone else had this problem? How can I fix it? I've tried reinstalling and redownloading the patch, no luck. Help I can't go much longer without some M16 shooting!
EDIT: I just found out, I can play it fine with 1.0. Once I try to patch, the game doesn't run anymore.
