When I did timed excercises I used to make my self a audio file and listen it while Im doing it.
Basically you take couple of good "running" songs and combine them in one long song. Than you put signals in it at correct times. You can, for example, stop the music few seconds with maybe a beeping tone. That will be your que. Or you can record your self saying what the next step is, for ex. "switch to full sprint" than when your done "switch to walking" etc. You can do it in couple of minutes and its much better than constantly looking at your stopwatch.

Whats your Treadmill like, is it a good one? I bought one and the highest speed it went up to was 9k an hour.. Which to me is a mad mince!

Try Fartlexing... Thats a good form of PT.

I do 30 mins on the treadmill doing 5 min warm up at speed 12ks an hour
Then for 20 mins at 2 min intervals going to 15.5ks an hour and then 10.5 ks an hour
Then a 5 min warm down at 12 ks again.

You could do it outside as well running between lamposts, sprinting then jogging.

Another good one is circuits! do 3 min warm up on the treadmill then do 3 sets of 10 of a number of exercises, but in between each set do 30 seconds on the treadmill. I usally do this at 13ks an hour.

Exercise consist of
3 min warm up

Burpee 3x12
Pressups 3x12
Situps 3x12
Dorsal Raises 3x12
Crunchies 3x12
Knees to chest 3x12
Squat thrusts 3x12
Tricep dips 3x12
Squats 3x12
Star Jumps 3x12

Then 3 mins warm down..... You should now be a big ball of sweat, enjoy

Hey, I have a training sheet for the Irish Armys An Cosantóir, basically it trains you to run 10k in 12 weeks.

There is 3 Stages of Training you can do.

I don't know what your fitness level is now, but if you're quite fit, I'd suggest the Intermediate.

#Beginners
#Intermediate
#Advanced

Please pick one you would like to hear, cause it's alot of writing and I don't wanna write all the info on each section down(take me ages).

Ok bear with me

EDIT OMFG! i just hit something that deleted it ALL OMFG! ok lets see what can I do to get it up!

FFS!
