Yesterday i reached first place 3 times ... but my stats says 1 more gold... Does the gold medal go to two players (1. place) in each team or just the best of all in both teams?

Lol, I love it when a player thinks hes going to get a gold medal and there's no commander on the team so someone quickly applies then gets 2x points and gets a gold star, I do it all the time, unless of corse someone else with a higher rank tries to get it X.x But yea... The highest player overall out of the two teams gets the gold and same with silver and bronze ...
You must have the top score on the server to get gold. There is not one given out per team.
You only get points you have earned while being commander doubled. If you get commander right at the end, you only get one or two points that are actually doubled.jarrad_411 wrote:

Flaming is right... there is no way to "steal" the gold. Besides, commander pts are also based on team performance (# of pts, divided by players still living at rounds end), as well as your own. So, while the 2x bonus can help boost a commander over the top of another player, it really only happens when the commander is doing a decent to good job in that round.

Commander of a decent winning team will nearly always get the gold, unless there is 1 outstanding player on his team (assuming they command for the whole round). Doesn't make much difference how well he commands.
I rarely see commanders stealing golds from decent players. A good commander does like 60-80 points which isnt hard to do as a regular infantry player. Sometimes it happens that i get a silver stolen from me by the commander.

If 1 guy is miles out in front, he will get gold. But remember the higher his score, the higher the commander's score also. I'm saying if there are a few good players keeping the overall team score high, the commander's score x2 will usually be higher than the top player.
