Hi all

I started this poll, because in the complain and praise sections it's not possible to find the opinion of the bf2s communitys majority.

It's not meant, that you start here again with complains and praises about Patch 1.2. Just simply give your opinion.

Explaination for answer 3:
I was reading trough the other threads about Patch 1.2 and try to include a little bit from everyone. With more balanced is meant:
- Decrease the accuracy of AA a bit.
- Increase hit points on choppers a bit.
- Rethink accuracy of sniper and support classes.
- Adjust throw distance for bags (inclusive C4) between 1.12 and 1.2, because for that the are here.
- e.t.c. (it doesn't make sense to list all, I think everyone know now what's meant with more balanced now)

Rethinking the accuracy for snipers and supports????

NOOO WAAAY,it finally is how it should have been in the first place!!
No more disappearing bullets while doing a sure shot on 40 meters(long range has never been an issue to me),and the support now actually is a light machinegun,not an airsoft rifle which only shoots up to 50 meters(heck,even the pistol was better in 1.12 than the LMG).

Im all for 1.2.  it's nice to finally have some balance between ground forces and air forces.

but why is there no 64 player servers? how are u supposed to play for 30+ minutes for the medals with no long games.

the only thing is about the AA and the c4 i think AA  should be less accurate and c4 is trowhed like a grenade cuz the c4 trowhing is really anoying....

Yes I think it was too easy for choppers/jets in 1.12, but it's taking the piss now.

They've just done whatever was easiest to code,

"oh, we can't fix bunnyhopping, so we'll just stop everyone firing everything when jumping, cos that'll be like changing a line of code" <<--- That's crap.


And I MUCH PREFERRED being whored by a chopper than the 40 snipers that are in a map now, least you knew where the f'ing chopper was!

I hope the sniper rush will soon end when everybody has had his try at the new rifle. Eventually everybody except the hardcore snipers will get tired of lying around and trying to kill all teh other snipers. You can still get into a tank and cap flags. Either they will change kit or let you rack up easy points and win the roudn for your team.

Sorry to say, but no they won't get tired.  Once ppl found claymores can't TK they will never stop being sniper.  City maps are all about sniper now.  Just run around dropping C4 and restocking from all the support ppl.

Don't think about sprinting in city maps anymore, not with Claymores every 5 feet.

IMO regarding attack heli's:

8 missiles
TV range to 500m
Increase hit points slightly
Keep current AA or maybe very slight reduction.

Generally I like the patch but the heli's have had a raw deal as they have been made less potent plus the AA has been improved aswell. Two fold f over for the attack heli. But saying that, I was playing today as gunner and pilot and I still can do the business. Having to fly map of earth and get the f out dodge quicker when under fire but I'm still killing the airpower fearing noobs. And all you airpower fearing noobs who said that your gonna own the pilots, please wait in the AA site for me so I can own you mofo's. Got hit by AA a bit more but you've just got to take the AA mofo out.

This patch is totally a null, failure, waste of my time I've spent playing BF2. I will admit i was a chopper whore/ jet whore, but it doesn't even really bother me that you can't even get in one of those things now, what really bothers me is the grounf fighting now, support gun is just pathetic, people were making 1 shot kills on me, and all the claymores are gay, I think they should allow c4 throwing, allow noob tubing in air, make aa between 1.12 and 1.2 and make chopper fighting like it use to be, 8 pilot missiles and 200 meters off tv guide is just wrong, they fucked this game up. I'm sure we all remember when they said the 1.12 patch wasn't fair to the people that bought this game and play anti tank or sniper and they didn't have an upgraded weapon, well this new patch is unfair to the people that bought this game to be in the air, it totally knocks that part out of this game.

I consider it impossible to use a jet now, I have accepted that and wont be flying anymore. Im not too bothered now as I mostly play special forces anyway, but I do feel sorry for people starting out with the game who might have wanted a go at flying, oh well they should have got them game 6 months ago I guess.

For me it’s the bugs that making this patch suck, not only are there over 12 new serious bugs but all the old ones that should have been fixed still exist (Wall glitch, red/blue nametag bug, etc).

I vote for a recall.

As I said above: I was taking out opinions from other threads about the new patch. It seems, that lots of ppl are thinking it have to be adjusted once more...

Dude,you must be one of the worst pilots ever or maybe you even have a "Kobrakai's Scenic Tours"-sign on the side of your jet.
There are pilots who can cope with the new AA,I got shot out of an IGLA-station with Mg fire several times today.
The pilot just knew which route to take and that it is important to do an early strafing run on those fixed emplacements before doing anything else.
Seems that your decision to quit flying is a wise choice.

Geesh,all you whiners teamkilled to get into this thing,now that there is a challenge in flying(omg,you can die in those things?) you bitch about the patch.

Adapt or die.

Waah waah, I supposedly can't whore the planes around, and our team is losing tickets because I suck and I repeatedly teamkilled the experienced pilot who can deal with 1.2 AA who wanted in after each of the 15 times I died. Waah waah waah. And now the AA is "unbalanced", we'll just ignore the about 6 months it was the other way around.

Buy a damned flight sim if all you bought it for was flying.

Oh wait, I'm mistaken, flight sims don't have stats so you can't show off your l33t skillz!!!!11!oen
