Problem (Vista DVD key)

I already installed Vista 1 year ago on a different system and today i was checking the activation options and it said its gonna do an automated activation in 2 days. I said to myself why not activate it now, by myself. I insert my key and then it says the dvd key is already in use! Is my key for only 1 activation? Do i need to "deactivate" the install on my previous PC?

Please help!
