find out the proper name of your motherboard and go to the asus website, find your motherboard on Asus and look at the specs, see if it supports DDR2 800mhz RAM

It doesnt matter, my board only supports 667mhz, I have Geil 800mhz in (so it runs at 667) but doesnt make that much difference

would getting 2 of these improve it for me or should i look for 4gb at 667Mhz?

Well, yes the 800mhz ram will just run at 667mhz, and since these are cheaper than any 667mhz ram on OcUK, these are a good option. Won't work on DualChannel though, and that's a miss.
