It's about living on campus, meeting new friends, doing your own laundry, making your own food, etc.
I've promised myself to not go to uni within 8 hours of my parents, preferably abroad. Otherwise, I'll just deliver my laundry to them and eat there every day
It's great to live closeish to your parents. You can still meet new friends and all that, but have the possibility to go home for some nice food and to get you stuff washed.Jenspm wrote:
