Dang, you probably payed a pretty penny for that. What, around $400-$500?

Modified semi-auto only most likely.

From the look, they're the civilian release models of those guns.  Easy to spot on SMG's becasue civilian models have longer than normal barrels to meet the minimum barrel length requirement for long guns.

not too mention the fact that full auto versions of those guns would run you anywhere from $4000-$30,000.
and then you STILL have to deal with the Class III license bullshit.

and they dont call them drums anymore....those are Beta Mags.

Yes, full-autos are expensive as fuck to get.  As for the license, there is a very long process involving multipul background checks, waiting periods, and other bureaucratic stuff before you can get one.  A friend of mine did it, and I was told the process took almost six months.

ya man, the cost to actually own and operate them is horrendous.
im pretty sure they check your report cards and shit too

but really, im not sure how much the actual licensing costs for full auto, but heres an example of the guns:

http://s47.photobucket.com/albums/f180/ … uzi009.flv

i get to shoot this ^^^ gun pretty much whenever i feel like it. since it is older than jesus, its only worth about $8000.
the ammo i fired off right there was worth about $4.50.
that adds up WWWAAAAYYYYYYY too quickly.

one of my favorite guns to shoot is the Thompson, but because of the cost of .45 ACP rounds, i dont shoot it as much as id like.

surprisingly, not nearly as many as the AR's.
i saw people standing in line for 45 minutes to drop a minimum of $650 on an AR.

Way too many people stuck on the video game bs. AK's are not that good, it is a mass production spray and pray weapon that is useless at distances of more than 100-200 yards.

But it's so reliable and lasts forever. Why do you think US soldiers picked them up in the Vietnam War?

the AK is a tank, there is no doubt. weve all heard the stories about them being buried, or underwater etc. and still being capable of firing. its just stamped steel, and the tolerance between the parts is so low, you can literally throw dirt IN the chamber and the weapon will still function.
theres something to be said for that.

however, when it comes to accuracy: AR>AK any day of the week.

My civilian M468 came out to over $1,100, I cant imagine how much the full auto or burst version is.
