Well Aus has removed our 1c and 2c pieces from circulation, yet you still have $1.99 and $3.98 prices, with the idea that the consumer doesn't think $1.99 equals $2.00. The only time you'll see that is when your buy afew and the total price manages 5c for you in change.

The US still has penny's though, I think probably because if they removed them from circulation, Lincoln would no longer be represented on a coin, and zomg he was the first one so has to be on a coin.

We didn't have that prob cause the Queen is printed on all our money, as in Great Britain.

Anyway, that's my gripe. Why not say $2 instead of $1.99?

You get the discount if you pay by credit card, EFTPOS, cheque (?), or if you buy enough to warrant a round down. Also, 1.99 looks cheaper than 2.00, maybe.
