I'm hoping the kill-off comes in the form of a rage virus, spread initially by infected monkeys.
So much negativity as of late...DoctaStrangelove wrote:

Anyway, it's foolish to think that the world will continue and everyone will be happy forever living off of unlimited resources. The future will hold radical changes as we finally realize there are too many of us. Something that will make WWII look like Child's Play.
Btw, Chinese, Indian, Thai, Vietnamese, and all other South East Asian Foods suck.

technology is the answer. we as a race of humans need to develop more efficient means of producing electricty, as well as waste management systems. i know being "green" is pretty much the gheyest fad out there right now, but there really is some underlying truths to some of the beliefs. not generating so much waste needs to be a high priority, especially in america. hopefully we can get over our petty differences and work together for the greater good, but that has been pipe dream for centuries...
legit Chinese is pretty good, unfortunately in the US most of it is Americanized and loaded to the brim with MSG (aka sodium)jord wrote:

If it aint American and made in America, I don't like it...
There is no such thing as American food. It's a mixture of every single frigging culture out there, yes even Burgers. Personally, I think that's awesome.
just like the country....thats what makes us so great.Mek-Izzle wrote:

It's becoming like that here too, and good. Because "English" food is actually shit. Except for Fish and Chips. I doubt that's even English anyway

England invented the vindaloo and Sandwich too.
Wasn't that the idea used in the first Final Fantasy movie? (seem to remember having seen that a couple years ago)GunSlinger OIF II wrote:

I have been talking about this for years. The world is simply WAY over populated, and cannot sustain itself in it's current state for alot longer.
A massive kill off is bound to happen. Be it war, virus, famine, something's gonna break.

I visited India for my fifteenth or so time two weeks ago and my my the times are a changing. I don't think that many people understand what its like there now but to be honest it's quite a transformation from when i was first going there. Take for example the small thing such as travelling between the airport and my grandparents house. It used to take two hours and now it takes twenty minutes along new roads and overpasses. Everything in that country is changing. There has always just been two classes in India the rich and the poor but now the middle class is coming into full swing. Young people with money to spend on consumer goods and ready to buy and rent housing. It's ridiculous how many housing developments i passed just going through a few miles of roads. Prices everywhere are rising and big supermarket and shopping chains have moved into areas undercutting the local salesmen.
The country at the moment is one of the strongest economies in the world and you can really see the difference and the money that is entering the country. With such a vast population however I don't think that this boom can continue in Asia for much longer.
Unless we colonize mars or sumthing....
