Tomorrow i got to get my wisdom teeth removed im pretty anxious and nervous hope this doesnt hurt.. on the bright side i dont have to go to school
Here's hoping yours go out better than mine did
It will hurt.... for weeks.
Drugged or sleep?
Getting your wisdom teeth out during the school year? Hah, good luck with that! People will be sure to call you chipmunk cheeks when you come back Plus you have to eat lots of cereal and mashed potatoes for the following week.
Other than that, the morphine is awesome and a great feeling
(oh and I love how descriptive the topic title is)

i will be on anisethics with vikidin ...ya ive got the soft food stocked up jello pudding applesauce and such
If they can't yank it straight out, they'll stick a wire cutter in your mouth and crack the teeth into little pieces so they can pick out the pieces. It's a weird/scary feeling as you hear your teeth crack and the pressure of all that force, but yet don't feel any pain... until the novacane wears off...
mine havent poked out yet so they have to cut open my gums and get em out ...i should be pretty un aware of whats going on lol i hope
sell the pain killers they give you. 5 bucks a pill.

Make sure they give you a lot of anisethics, mine started to wear off towards the end of the operation and I could start to feel the pain, dentist kept saying hold on a little longer we're almost done...but that was about 15 minutes before it was all over, longest 15 minutes ever.
After the surgery, try to keep your mouth clean eventhough its gonna be tough as you can brush properly and use mouthwash. You defintely don't want to get an infection. Hope you don't smoke..

sleep is scary. you wake up early, you feel the full pain. at least with drugs...it slowly wears down so you slowly feel the pain thus you have time to get use to it little by little instead of the full effect when you wake up.SealXo wrote:

"Dry socket occurs in about 3 percent to 5 percent of all tooth extractions, but it's much more common after extraction of wisdom teeth and impacted wisdom teeth in particular." hopefully i don't get 1 ....pretty much if i follow post procedure directions i should be alright
What a waste. You should be ashamed.S.Lythberg wrote:

Actually, my oral surgeon gave me the drugs while I was sleeping through the IV, so I woke up and felt nothing.
At the dry sockets, yes, just follow procedures.
