If you recall, EA tried to take over Take-Two games (GTA makers). Jack Thompson offered his legal help. EA told him this:

"Mr. Thompson,

We have received your letter to EA's shareholder site. In response to your offer to assist in the proposed acquisition of Take-Two, we would strongly prefer that you not get involved in this matter. EA is a strong supporter of creative freedom for game developers. We feel that your past statements - including false claims about content in our games - make any collaboration with you impossible.

Aaaaaaaand to bring things back on topic so I don't get an AWM for spam...

Wasn't there also a case going on of trying to remove Jack Thompson's license to practice law or something? He acts like a cranky 5yo who didn't have a nap during court cases, and a lot of judges were pissed at him. I think he was going to settle for a 90-day suspension but people want to go all the way and make it so he can't practice ever again?

Hmmmm, yeah. Nobody likes Thompson, but I only read the part about EA trying to aquire Take-Two... That's just what gamers need... A greedy company with little concern for its fans taking over one of the biggest and successful franchise games. Anyone else see a problem for GTA V if EA was releasing it?? Bleh.
