we already know how badass we are. the russians, for lack of a better term, are desparate fucking losers. they have no ecomomy, they have no future, but they do have a decrepit military and all the fuel they need to keep it running. they wanna get back to the glory days, when they were desparate fucking losers with an iron curtain to hide reality.

nuff said, I guess. It happened in international waters, and just as the US can send their carrier groups anywhere in international waters, the russians can have their bombers fly anywhere in international airspace. Cold War is over. Why do people automatically assume that a russian bomber flying over a US carrier is a threat ? Maybe he wanted to say hello to fellow soldiers ?

Why not simply wave, smile and have a few friendly words via radio ?

We note the event, but it's not a big deal. That bomber couldn't have done anything, as it was intercepted long before it got into range of the carrier.
