I have an M1330, and for anything that isnt games it is epically good.

The M1530 has a much better GPU, but it is still not an amazing one. As far as laptops go though, it is probably a good GPU.

DONT buy from dell. By from a custom site, such as www.cyperpowerpc.com or www.powernotebooks.com

They have custom builds, the latest SATA II hard drives, Intel Penryn processors up to 3 gigs of ram or 4 with Vista...

AND, AND you get domestic 24/7 7 days a week tech support. You won't get transfered to a guy in bungalodesh.

Have you had a bad experience with Dell Doomed?

They were great when I bought my laptop from them (M1330). Maybe Australia Dell is better

I'm happy with my Dell.  It was cheap, shipped with winXP, and didn't come bundled with shit.  Of course, I ordered though Dell Small Business in the US.

I have a SATA HDD and a Core2 Duo and I could have gotten a GeForce 8600, 4GB RAM, etc...
