Fun MP Xbox (original) and 360 games?

Ok, so I don't have much disposable income (if any) and wanted to get some fun and frantic cheap as chips multiplayer games for the 360 (or supported Xbox games). Was looking on the CeX.co.uk site, but realised I have no idea which ones are good to play with mates. I've just got a new flat and have got bored of the games I have (or they are only sp)

Currently the xbox/360 games I own are:

Flatout
NFS:PS
Burnout 3
Forza 2
The Darkness
Fable
MK:Shaolin monks (does not work on 360)

Any suggestions appreciated.

Oh, and most of the time we play these..... we're baked.

i want Halo 3 but I am tryin to get engaged within the next couple of months so....money is nonexistent when i have college loans an other bills to pay for.

Halo can wait.

i do suggest NHL 08 and FIFA 08 (the two games i have and love)

I am the God for this:

First off, you NEED TimeSplitters 2. It's a damn fun FPS game, and you will love it.

Second, there's the obvious Halo games.

Next, we have Burnout, but I see you already have that, so maybe think of the new one?

Another great game would be Guitar Hero 2 and 3 with two guitars, if you're with mates.

I reckon with those games you could have some damn good fun for a while.

It would be awesome if PS3 and X360 owners could play on same servers etc..

It would take fanboyism to a whole new level, but a better competitive level instead of forum bitching

Rainbow Six Vegas is real good fun and has a big replay value.

Also, Halo 3 is pretty nice. Get some friends to play it and go do co-op missions. Real fun.

Add the fact that RSV2 is out this month. As is GTAIV next month. PGR4 is a fantastic racing game, as is Burnout Paradise. My mate has Bully Scholarship Edition which was released today, if you didn't get it for PisS2, GET IT!!
