The stock cooler on my 8800gt is starting to fail just as expected, so the time has come to buy an aftermarket cooler like I've done with every video card I've owned. However, the 8800gt is a different kind of awesome compared to an x1950pro or worse, so I'm not entirely sure what to buy. The safest bet seems to be Zalman's current top of the range, the VF1000, but it is expensive. Is there any other solution out there that will also adequately cool my 8800gt for less money?
Thermaltake Duo Orb
Thermalright HR-03 GT
Thermalright HR-03 GT
Orb: can't find. Care to link?_NL_Lt.EngineerFox wrote:

Thermalright HR-03GT
Should cool it at stock speeds without a fan, you can add any 92mm fan you like to it if needed, certainly better than the Zalman and probably better than anything else on the market.
