- Anti-War Judge Rejects Foster Teen's Bid to Join Marines
Wow, isn't the judge not supposed be bias? I don't agree with the war but if the kid does, let him do what he wants.
Pretty much.avman633 wrote:

The paradox is only a conflict between reality and your feeling what reality ought to be.

Funny; that's 5 minutes from my house.
She deserves to lose her judgeship if the context is true. I'm guessing that her opposition to the war couldn't have been the official reasoning for her decision.
Transcripts won't be available for a week, so I guess we'll find out then.

Judges in Cali seem to be making some real cockeyed decisions lately.
Please find a source for this other than Fox.
So far, blogs and right wing sites seem to be the only ones reporting on this. I'll continue looking for more substantial sources.

So yeah, I would agree then that this judge is basing her decision on bullshit, now that personal politics have come into play.
I agree.Turquoise wrote:

...ad this suprises you.... how? You really think the mainstream media want to bring a lot of light to this?Turquoise wrote:

Or are we still pretending that CNN, MSNBC, and the broadcast media news agecies are 'neutral,' and that FOXnews is a part of the evil 'vast right-wing conspiracy?'
*Waits for someone to begin bashing all anti-Iraq war people because of this asshole judge*
You are allowed and encouraged to have your own opinion. But to allow your personal and political beliefs to color your work is... unprofessional. Lady Justice has a blindfold on for a reason.Spearhead wrote:

They bash soldiers because of the actions of a few soldiers......so why not?Spearhead wrote:

I predicted it'd happen, and bam, Usmarine did it. He fell for the bait and proved my point all at once.
So you now expect left wing sites to blacken their own eyes?? I guess Al Jezeera will now report the attrocities the Palestinians are committing against Israel.Turquoise wrote:

I think he was making the point of "why should we not blame all for the actions of one, since it is a tactic that the people on the other side fo the fence seem to use on us."Spearhead wrote:

I was simply making a point that you were trolling for people to start bashing, and I was simply relating that this case was above and beyond the simple bashing simply because they were anti-war.
Anti-War protesters protest the wrong people.

How the fuck would you know?
As if there's two yards and a fence between us.imortal wrote:

I've seen soldiers and generals who are against the Iraq war, or, at least, the way we're carrying it out.
Of course there are assholes on both sides. People like this judge, and USmarine. And lowing.
