I'm looking for a program that searches through multiple files for a text string, like a word or sentence. It's a PITA when you're looking for a specific line of text through dozens of files.
I've tried Googleing and I've downloaded many of these programs that claim to do this, but none actually work. So, I want to know if anyone has actually used one and had good luck with it.
