Rank not showing up

I am suppose to be Captain but my rank is coming up as private, usually this goes away after a restart but it's not, it's really making me mad. I got all my weap unlocks and everything but no rank.

Any fixes? i tried restarting computer and game still nothing

hmm, well sometimes the server is usually messed up but all I need to do at the most when that happens is restart BF2. Maybe you got reset...oh noes!!

Yup, glitch, happens sometimes.

Either you have no unlocks + no rank, or just no rank...

Don't worry you still get the points etc from the round.

Usually if you go to another server things will be normal...

It's a glitch. It's not much of a problem, except some people who don't know you won't let you into aircraft. But if you start owning on the ground, the enemy will start complaining.

Yea true, some guy was commander, shouting at me that he wouldn't give me an supply drop cause I am a little private nublet; I switched killed him 5 times with an M24, switched back and asked friendly can I have it now? Cause I was the same rank as him; Anyway yesterday on my server I had a Lieutenant Colonel rank <which is my rank, but my friend saw private, my other friend saw Lt. Colonel... that was weird.

What mostly help is to close BF2, take the cd out and try again... resolved things for me.

my rank isn't updating too:( i starter again to play for more than 2 weeks ago...in game after i killed more than 150 players it showed me that i was ranked to Private First Class...a week passed but in BFHQ everything is 0...and here on bf2s.com says this:This player has been looked up and found to have less than 100 global points.
BF2S.com does not track players with less than 100 points.

and nothing is changing and a week passed already:(

Thats because you havent been playing on ranked servers. Make sure you have 1.41 patch downloaded and installed, and then make sure you have the ranked box ticked in the filters.

Nothing nice to say? Don't say anything at all. 90% of the people who force TK are under the rank of sergeant and have at least 4 numbers in their name, barely anyone does it because they hate me.
